In July 2020 my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. I remember thinking…. This can’t be…I still have little kids. I can’t die. My kids…My husband…My dad…They cannot watch another loved one be taken by cancer. I need to beat this!
And I did. I thank God for carrying me through those dreadful times, and thanks to modern medicine and research dedicated to ending breast cancer, I stand before you today.
It was on the darkest night of that journey that I found my vision. A spark ignited within me. I couldn’t go back and change all the unhealthy decisions I made that led to my current condition, but I could fight to survive and work to become the healthiest version of myself possible. Not just for me and my family, but to inspire as many people as possible to get healthy before their health is forfeited. I wanted my suffering to have meaning, to evolve into something life changing. This was the beginning of what would one day be Pure Steel Inc.
