In July 2020, my world changed forever—I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. I remember thinking, This can’t be happening. I have little kids. I can’t die. My children, my husband, my dad… they couldn’t lose another loved one to cancer. I had to fight—and I had to win.
And I did.
I thank God for carrying me through those dark times. Thanks to modern medicine and dedicated breast cancer research, I’m still here today.
It was during the darkest moments of that journey that I discovered my purpose. A spark was lit inside me. I couldn’t change the choices that may have led me there, but I could choose to fight—to survive—and to become the healthiest version of myself. Not just for me and my family, but to inspire others to take control of their health before it’s too late.
I wanted my struggle to have meaning. I wanted it to become something that could change lives. That was the beginning of what would one day become Pure Steel Inc.
